I follow football, NFL, NBA, F1, and tennis. Proximus charges me for a sports pack that does not even cover half of what I actually watch. Is there one setup that handles everything — or am I stuck with a different app for every sport?

Living in Belgium and trying to follow your sport should not feel like solving a puzzle. Here are the honest answers — one question, one sport at a time.

Football — Premier League & Champions League

QUESTION

Lander, I get this question a lot — and the frustration is completely valid.

Here is the simple truth: no single legal app covers every sport in Belgium. The broadcast rights are sold separately per competition, so the market is fragmented by design. But once you understand who owns what, you can build your own setup for less than what Proximus charges you right now.

Let me break it down sport by sport:

  • ⚽ Premier League & Champions League: Eleven Sports owns UCL, Play Sports covers most Premier League. Both work without a TV pack — subscribe directly.
  • 🏈 NFL: DAZN Belgium is your answer. They carry NFL Game Pass, every game live and on demand. Clean app, works on everything.
  • 🏀 NBA: NBA League Pass is built for you. Official, works in Belgium, and if you miss a late game you can watch the full replay next morning.
  • 🏎️ Formula 1: F1 TV Pro. Every race live, all the onboard cameras, live timing. Honestly better than watching it on broadcast.
  • 🎾 Tennis: Depends on the tournament. Roland Garros has its own app. Wimbledon streams on BBC iPlayer with a VPN. beIN Sports covers the rest.
  • 🥊 Boxing & MMA: DAZN again. Most major cards are there. If you already got it for NFL it covers this too.

So realistically you are looking at three subscriptions: Eleven Sports, DAZN, and NBA League Pass. That covers almost everything you listed.

Now — if managing three apps still sounds like too much — there are services like MoonCast that bundle all of this into one place. One login, every sport, live. Not the official route, but it is what a lot of people land on when they just want simplicity.

Either way, you will spend less than your current Proximus pack. That much I can guarantee.
