Hi everyone,

I’m using Smarters IPTV Pro on my Samsung Smart TV, and while it technically works, it’s painfully slow.

The main problems I’m facing:

  • Channels take a long time to load

  • Sometimes I wait 20–40 seconds before a channel starts

  • Switching between channels is very slow

  • Occasionally I get a black screen before the stream starts

Once a channel finally loads, it usually plays fine — but getting there is frustrating.

My internet speed is good, and IPTV works much faster on my phone and laptop.

So what’s the issue here?
Is it Smarters Pro on Samsung TVs, or something else?

QUESTION

Yeah, this is a very common issue, and you’re definitely not alone.

Short answer: it’s not your internet and it’s probably not your IPTV provider.

The real problem is the Samsung (and LG) Smart TV apps.

At this point, we honestly do NOT recommend using Samsung or LG TV apps for IPTV anymore. They’re either poorly optimized, limited by the TV hardware, or simply not properly supported long-term. Updates are slow, bugs stick around, and performance gets worse over time — especially with bigger playlists.

Smarters IPTV Pro in particular is a heavy app, and Samsung TVs just struggle with it.

That’s why channels take ages to load, switching is slow, and you see black screens even though everything works fine on your phone.

What Actually Works Best (From Real Use)

If you want IPTV to feel fast and stable, the best move is to use an external Android-based device instead of the TV’s built-in app.

These are the devices that consistently work well with our system and most IPTV services:

  • Fire Stick 4K – about $49
⚠️ Important: not the normal Fire Stick. The 4K version is much faster and makes a big difference.

  • Xiaomi Mi Box S – around $60
Solid performance, clean Android TV, very stable with IPTV apps.

  • Chromecast with Google TV – about $50
Way better than older Chromecasts. You install IPTV apps directly, no casting issues.

  • Walmart ONN Android TV box – around $20
Cheapest option that actually works surprisingly well for IPTV.

  • Nvidia Shield – about $200
Overkill for most people, but hands down the best performance if you want top-tier speed.

Why These Devices Fix the Problem

  • Faster CPU and more RAM than Smart TVs

  • Better support for IPTV apps like Smarters, XCIPTV, TiviMate

  • Faster channel switching

  • No EPG lag

  • Apps are updated more often

Most people are shocked at how much faster IPTV feels the moment they switch.

If You Want to Stick With Samsung (Not Ideal, But…)

If you’re staying on Samsung for now:

  • Try a lighter app like IBO Player or Flix IPTV

  • Reduce EPG size

  • Restart the TV often (Samsung TVs don’t manage memory well)

It might help a bit — but it won’t fully fix the slow loading.

Bottom Line

If you’re staying on Samsung for now:

  • Try a lighter app like IBO Player or Flix IPTV

  • Reduce EPG size

  • Restart the TV often (Samsung TVs don’t manage memory well)

It might help a bit — but it won’t fully fix the slow loading.
